Mr. Rodney Cleveland “Mule” Martin, 73, of LaGrange, passed away on Feb. 23, 2020, at his residence. Mr. Martin was born on March 15, 1946, in Randolph County, Alabama, to the late Henry Martin and Avie Harden Martin. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Mr. Martin proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era and was a truck driver by trade. 

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Sue Stephens Martin; children, Karen Zane Martin (Robert Burgess), Jody Evans (Kalena Atkins) and Hollie Martin; brother, Carles Martin; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Atkins and Justin Burgess; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020, at 1 p.m. at the Hunter Allen Myhand Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Reeves officiating. 

Interment will follow at Meadoway Gardens. Family will receive friends on Wednesday beginning at 11 a.m. until service hour at the funeral home.
