LaGrange High’s girls’ soccer team had no trouble finding the back of the net during Thursday’s 6-4 home win over Northside-Columbus.

LaGrange (3-1) scored four goals in the first half, and it added two more goals in the second half to hold off Northside.

Caroline Thompson, whose senior season is off to a fast start, had two goals for LaGrange, giving her nine goals in four games.

Thompson has seven goals in the past two games, including a five-goal performance against Benjamin Russell.

Malone Aldridge, Miller Williamson, Abby Mazzolini and Sydney Ormsby each had one goal against Northside, and Tatum Fritchley and Ormsby each had one assist.

LaGrange visits Brookstone on Saturday before facing Troup on Tuesday in its Region 5-AAAA opener.
