For the safety of its employees and the public at large, The LaGrange Daily News is temporarily closing its office to the public starting Friday, March 20.

Customers can make payments via the mail slot at the front door and can email with any questions. The office can also be reached at (706) 884-7311 or via its Facebook page, titled “The LaGrange Daily News.”

“This was a difficult decision, but it’s the best one for the health of our employees,” said Publisher Daniel Evans. “Following guidance from the Center for Disease Control and city leadership, this is the right decision for the time being. We hope our customers will understand as we adjust due to the coronavirus pandemic.”
