Gerson Earl “GE” Robinson, Sr., 87, of LaGrange, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 19, at his home.

Mr. Robinson was born Aug. 21, 1932, in Randolph County, Alabama, to the late Lawrence Cleophus Robinson and Georgia Florence Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Robinson.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Gerson and Carol Robinson, Jr.; daughter, Melanie Robinson; grandchildren, Holly and Aaron Caverly, Gerson Robinson III, and Scott Robinson; great granddaughter, Aria Eleanor Caverly; other relatives and friends.

There will be a private celebration of life service held Saturday, March 28.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts may be made to Bellevue Historical Society of Lagrange, at  bellevuelagrangega.org
