Georgia over 1500 COVID-19 cases, 48 deaths

Troup County is up to 10 total COVID-19 cases, according to the latest numbers from the Georgia Department of Public Health.

The state of Georgia overall has 1,525 total cases, including 48 deaths. Troup County had its first COVID-19 related death on Thursday, according to Dr. Olugbenga Obasanjo, director of District 4 Public Health. It is unclear if the Troup County death is part of the statewide death total.
