Fourth person in Troup County dies from COVID-19

A fourth person in Troup County has died from complications related to COVID-19.
The Georgia Department of Public Health released its evening numbers Tuesday, which confirmed the fourth death in an 82-year old female. The person had underlying conditions, according to GDPH.
Troup County’s other three COVID-19 related deaths have also been females with underlying health conditions. They were ages 66, 61 and 37.
Troup County had 68 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of Tuesday evening.
Statewide there have been 14,578 cases and 524 people have died.
