Mrs. Brenda Joyce King Macready, of LaGrange, passed away on April 18, 2020, at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice.

Mrs. Macready was born on Jan. 3, 1949, in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Ollie King and Delila Williams King. She worked for Medical Records at the WellStar West Georgia Medical Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Bruce Macready and her siblings, Sidney King and Delores King. Survivors include her children, Drue Macready and Dawn Macready; brothers, Melvin Caldwell (Sylvia) and Jimmy Caldwell (Nancy); grandchildren, Kaitlynn Macready, Jack Hermelo and Ares Hermelo; extended family and friends.

A private family gathering will be held due to the health crisis in our country.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of LaGrange-Troup.
