Carmen Louise Couch

1968-2020

Carmen Louise Couch, 51 of Pine Mountain, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at her parent’s home in Pine Mountain.

Carmen was born Sept. 15, 1968, in Carrollton the daughter of Dr. Bill Couch Sr., and Sara Hardy Couch. She was a 1986 graduate of Flint River Academy and a 1990 graduate of West Georgia College. She later earned her masters in educational counseling at Columbus State. Carmen was a counselor at the Hogansville Elementary School. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, in Durand.

She is survived by a loving family which include her parents Dr. Bill Couch Sr. and Sara Hardy Couch, sons William Casey Dougherty and Ian Max Dougherty, special friend Robert L. Vargas all of Pine Mountain;  brother, Dr. W. Max Couch, Jr. and his wife Holly and their son Liam, along with extended family and friends.

In accordance with the present COVID-19 virus mandate, a private graveside service with only immediate family members present will be held. Once the pandemic has subsided, a public memorial service will be held.
