One person was shot in the foot Sunday evening in LaGrange, according to the LaGrange Police Department.

At about 2:11 a.m., officers responded to 138 Northwoods Drive due to a report of a person shot. When officers contacted the victim, she told police she suffered a gunshot wound to her foot and was taken to a medical facility outside of LaGrange.

The victim was later treated and released. According to the victim, several gunshots were fired into the residence by unknown suspects and the victim was shot in the process.
