Marvin Frank Lane — 1932-2020

Mr. Marvin Frank Lane, 88, of LaGrange, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020, at the Twin Fountains Home. Mr. Lane was born on April 2, 1932, in Langdale, Alabama, to the late Homer Frank Lane and Mary Elder Lane.

Mr. Lane was a retired Methodist Minister serving many churches in the LaGrange District. Mr. Lane also managed the shoe department at Mansour’s Department Store for many years.

Surviving him are his wife, Linda Foisset Lane; children, Marvin Randall Lane (Cathy), Vicki Lane Vaughan (Ed) and Daniel Tyler Lane (Alison); stepsons, Jason A. Foisset (Allison) and Chad Foisset (Heather); brother, William A. Lane (Mary); eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; extended family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Lanelle Tyler Lane and his sister, Faye Lane Crowder.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church, 101 North Davis Road, LaGrange, Georgia, 30241.
