Donald Ray Jackson

1947-2020

Donald Ray Jackson, 73, of LaGrange, Georgia, passed away Monday, May 11, 2020, at West Georgia Medical Center after an extended illness.

Mr. Jackson was born May 11, 1947, in Alma, Georgia, to the late Clinton Erving Jackson and Ruby Ester McLean Jackson. For many years, he was known for being an English Tutor at West Georgia Technical College.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Suzanne Grotheer Jackson; daughters, Emily Jackson (Marshall) Hill and Rachel Jackson (Donnie) Arndt; three grandchildren; brother, Freddy (Betty) Jackson; sister, Betty Sue Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Biblical History Center, 130 Gordon Commercial Drive, LaGrange, Georgia 30240 or the charity of your choice.
