Michael Todd Johnson

1969-2020

Mr. Michael Todd Johnson, 50, a life-long resident of Troup County, passed away on May 9, 2020. 

Todd was born on Sept. 24, 1969, in Columbus, Georgia. 

He graduated from Troup High School and served as a Deputy for the Troup County Sheriff’s Office for a number of years. 

A portion of his service during that time was as the School Resource Officer for Callaway High School.

 Most recently, he was a Lab Manager for Cascade Services.

 His mother, Juanita Ford Davis and his sister, Michelle Mock preceded him in death. Survivors include his daughters, Shelby Johnson and Maggie Johnson; aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends. 

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a service celebrating his life will be scheduled at a later date. 

The family will be at the home of Eddy and Christy Lumpkin, 5006 Old West Point Road, LaGrange. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the charity of your choice. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.higginslagrangechapel.com.
