On-site inmate video visitation to resume May 18

On Monday, May 18, on-site inmate video visitation will resume from within the Troup County Sheriff’s Office Video Visitation Center. 

To achieve this successfully the following procedures will be in place. 

Only six visits will be scheduled at one time, utilizing every-other kiosk machine. 

Due to safe distancing, only one adult and one minor child while be permitted per scheduled visit. 

Visitors who enter the building will be encouraged, however not required to wear a face mask and if a person is a COVID-19 symptomatic or have a fever, they will be asked to cancel their visit, and routine sanitizing of the building and machines will take place throughout the day. 

Beginning May 16, at noon, individuals can schedule their visit by going to www.visitfromhome.net and follow the instructions. 

Beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 18, individuals can visit the visitation center in person to schedule a future visit. 

If a person arrives for a visit or to schedule a visit and it is determined there are too many people in the building, they may be asked to remain in their vehicle until space becomes available.
