Carol Taylor Sands Williams

1938-2020

Carol Taylor Sands Williams, 81, of LaGrange, passed away at her residence on May 28, 2020. She was born on Oct. 17, 1938, to the late Woodrow Taylor and Hazel Danford Taylor. She was employed with JC Penney for 17 years. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Charles F. Sands, Jr.; brother, Dan Taylor; sisters, Betty Jo Jones (George), Caffie Stogner; stepson, Steven G. Williams; and her grandchild, Steven A. Williams.

Survivors include her husband, Marion Williams; daughters, Tracy Waller (Charles III) and Cindy Fenn (Mark); sisters, Martha Holloway (Rayford), Debbie Pike (Ricky); brother, Eddie Taylor (Sherry); grandchildren, Carol McDonald (Joshua), Elizabeth Waller, Kimberly Alexander, Peter Koenig; great grandchildren, Ada Waller,  Lilly McDonald, Charlie McDonald, Justin Alexander, Brionna Alexander, Aisha Koenig; special friends, Gail and Phil Crawford, and Nancy Marsh; extended family and friends.

Family will have visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2020, at the Hunter Allen Myhand Funeral Home. Graveside services for family and friends will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2020, at the Restlawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Ben Turner officiating.
