Eva Mae Jennings

1945-2020

Eva Mae Jennings passed away Tuesday at her home in Toledo, Ohio. She was born Aug. 6, 1945, in LaGrange, Georgia to the late Haywafer and Tommie Lue Wilburn. She accepted Christ at a young age and united with Union Chapel United Methodist Church; and upon relocating to Toledo, Ohio, united with Central Baptist Missionary Church.

Eva graduated from Ethel W. Kight High School in LaGrange, in June 1965. 

Later she attended business college in Toledo, Ohio; where she later became an owner of a clothing store. Eva was employed by Royal Pharmacy, Lane Drug Store and Rite Aid Pharmacy where she retired after 35 years of dedicated services. Eva was a member of The Order of Eastern Start where she was Past Worthy Matron Rachel Chapter #14, Star of Bethlehem Grand Chapter.

Survivors include April Michelle Jennings (daughter) Hampton, Gerogia; Amiir Rogers (Granddaughter) Hampton, Gerogia; sister, Bettye Peppers (Gordon) Fairburn, Gerogia; one aunt, Ruth Rembert, Dayton, Ohio; relatives and friends.

 The service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Union Chapel Cemetery. The excellent care of Ms. Jennings is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
