A 32-year-old male has become the youngest person to die in Troup County due to COVID-19, according to the latest numbers from the Georgia Department of Public Health.

Troup County’s rise in COVID-19 cases continued on Wednesday, as the Georgia Department of Public Health confirmed another 39 cases and two more deaths. The other new death was in the 80-89 age range.

Troup County now has 844 total cases and has an average increase of 38 cases per day over the last 11 days.
