Walter “Bill” Wilson Miles, Sr., 72, of LaGrange, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020 at West Georgia Hospice.

 “Bill” as he was affectionately known, was born July 2, 1947, in LaGrange, son of Margaret Freeman Richardson and the late Collie Miles. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and retired from LaGrange Toyota after 34 years of service. 

Survivors include his loving wife, Elaine Miles; son, Walter W. Miles, Jr, his wife, Nikki and their children, Christian, Megan, and Ashlyn; daughter, Ashley Maxwell and her son, Miles; son, Jason Miles, his wife, Sarah and their children, Ava Cate and Cooper; mother, Maragaret Richardson; sister, Colleen Kitchens; other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 25, 2020, at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to West Georgia Hospice in memory of Walter “Bill” Miles.
