City of LaGrange Municipal Court open, court proceedings rescheduled to mid-July

Thee City of LaGrange Probation Office and Municipal Court are open to the public but all Municipal Court proceedings are postponed until mid-July.

 The probation office is open to the public Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to noon, 1 to 5 p.m. For questions, stop by the office during the open times or call Phillip Clark at (706) 883-2197. To make a payment have cash or a money order ready.

 The municipal court office is also open to the public Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to noon, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. For questions, stop by the office or call Shakeenah Coleman (706) 883-2017.

 Municipal Court proceedings are being rescheduled to mid-July. If someone has a case that was scheduled for Tuesday, June 16 or later, the case has been rescheduled for a later court date to mid-July or later.  To check on court dates go to www.lagrangega.org

 Court rescheduling dates will be mailed to the last known address on the ticket.  

If an address has changed since the time you received a traffic citation or other court proceedings, call the court to give them your new mailing address. 

 If you have COVID-19 symptoms, the citys asks that you stay home and give them a call. 

Those who plan on coming into the office are asked to wear a face mask. If you don’t have a face mask, the city will provide one.
