Troup County saw its number of COVID-19 cases continue to increase on Thursday.

Troup County now has 1,516 total COVID-19 cases, which is the total since the start of the pandemic. That’s an increase of 52 cases from Wednesday. The total number of deaths increased to 35, up one from Wednesday’s update.

There have been 158 total hospitalizations in Troup County.

Troup County had 426 total cases as of June 7 and has seen more than 1,000 cases since that date.
