Mrs. Joanne Johnson passed away Wednesday.

She was born June 23, 1956, to the late Jinnie Mae Grier and Guy McGhee in Pine Mountain, Georgia.

Survivors include her husband, Melvin Johnson; four daughters: Marchia (Rodney) Harris, Kimberly Johnson, Melissa Johnson, Gigi (Kacson) Maddox; one son, Mykel Johnson; four sisters:  Patillo (Harold) Copeland, Julia Grier, Mostella Grier, and DIann Harris; two brothers:  Carl Grier and Darnell McGhee.

The service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Cathedral of Hope, Hamilton.

The excellent care of Mrs. Johnson is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
