John “Todd” Morgan

1947-2020

John M. “Todd” Morgan, 73, of LaGrange, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at his home.

 Todd was born July 1, 1947, in Lake Village, Arkansas, to the late Matt and Mary Morgan. He received his bachelor’s degree in business management from University of Arkansas at Monticello and retired from Sejong as the Vice President. 

He joined and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged four years later. Todd was an avid bass fisherman (with all his fish stories) and loved the outdoors. He was the most amazing man, husband, father, papaw and friend. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Jack Morgan, Mary Jean Morgan (Ervin) Hall; brother-in-law, Otillio Bariola.

 Todd is survived by his wife, Ruth Morgan; daughter, Crystal Miley; son, Kristopher Morgan; grandchildren, Riley C. Morgan, Alexis M. Miley, and Reagan E. Miley; siblings, Jaunder Joan Morgan Bariola of Lake Village Arkansas, Novilla Ellen Morgan (William) Frazer of Portland Arkansas, Allen David (Donna) Morgan Sr. of Louisville Kentucky, Donna Lou Morgan (Kenneth) Moorehead of Lake Village, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Tina Morgan; several other relatives and friends.

 The gathering of family and friends will be will be Sunday, July 18, 2020 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. The Graveside Service will be Sunday, July 18, 2020 at 2 p.m. in Rose Hill Cemetery, Monticello, Arkansas.
