Vera Lee Walker Williams passed away Friday.

She was born June 21, 1947 to Milton and Callie Walker. Vera united with Mountain Hill Missionary Baptist Church, graduated from Carver High School, Class of 1968; and retired from Florence Hand Nursing Home.

Survivors inlcude her son, Leroy Buckner Jr. Sacramento, California; step-son, Fredrick (Tahira) Williams, Woodbridge, Virginia; step daughter, Beverly Williams, Greenville, Georgia, three sisters, Ruby Williams, Mildred George, Cuba Murphy, all of Hamilton, Georgia; sister-in-law, Dorothy Alexander, Atlanta, Georgia, brothers-in-law, Earl O’Neal, Cataula, Georgia, James Williams, South Carolina; and an array of nieces, nephews, special relatives, friends, and her Mountain Hill Missionary Baptist Church family.

The service will be Friday at noon at Mountain Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The excellent care of Mrs. Williams is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
