Rev. William L. King, Sr., 66, of LaGrange, passed away Sunday, Aug. 16, 2020, at his home.

Rev. King was born on Feb. 19, 1954, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Mr. Willie Lee King and Mrs. Lovella Fuller King. He was a member of City Light Church of God, formerly 4th Ave. Church of God and a former Church of God minister. 

He loved the Lord, his family, UGA football and was an avid horseback rider.

Rev. King is survived by his loving wife, Sarah King; children, Bria L. Barnwell (Terry), William L. King, Jr. (Kristi), Wesley F. King (Erika), Joshua C. Dollar; grandchildren, Jacob L. Jackson, Jayden L. Jackson, Alexander L. Borunov, Maximilian O. Borunov, Brayden L. King, Micah W. King, Gabriel L. King, Dillan J. King, and Joshua L. Jackson; great-grandchild, Zachary L. King.

The funeral service for Rev. William L. King, Sr. will be held Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2020 at City Lights Church at 11 a.m. A visitation will be held Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2020 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary.

Interment will be held in Restlawn Memory Gardens.
