Brian E. Hawkins passed away Wednesday.

He was born Sept. 25, 1959, to Amos and Gladys Hawkins in Anniston, Alabama.

He graduated from Anniston High School, Class of 1978; and was a member of Miracle Deliverance Temple.

Survivors include his wife, Pastor Doris J. Hawkins; sons:  Shawn Foroutan, Derick Foroutan, Chris Foroutan, Bryan (Shyleta) Swain, Fredrick Hawkins; daughters:  Shena Foroutan, Doretta Hawkins; bonus children:  Antuan Thomas, Sherika (Orlando) Strozier; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four bonus grandchildren; siblings:  Angelo Hawkins, Ray Hawkins, Charles (Cynthia) Hawkins; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law:  Sharon Hawkins, Melsnease (Alonzo) Render, Evelyn Williams, Carl Thomas, Gloria Shealey, Lena Thomas, Frank (Margo) Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives.

The visitation will be Friday from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home, 100 Corporate Plaza Drive.

The service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Southview Cemetery. The excellent care of Apostle Hawkins is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
