Mrs. Gloria Jean Black Waller, age 75, of West Point, passed away on Aug. 25, 2020.

Mrs. Waller was born in West Point, Georgia on Sept. 4, 1944, to the late Cary Andrew Black and Mattie Ezra Price Black.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Montene Waller Bailey and a number of siblings. Mrs. Waller retired from the Troup County School System as a Special Education Teachers Aid.

Survivors include her husband, Roy Lee Waller, Jr.; daughter, Teresa Michele Waller Terlisner (Chad); extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2020, at 2 p.m. at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel with the Rev Bryan Geter and the Rev. Lamar Womack officiating. Interment to follow at the Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery on Bartley Road.
