A 20-year-old was shot and killed on Wednesday night, according to a press release from the LaGrange Police Department.

The LPD responded to the area of 16 Whiting Street on Wednesday at approximately 11:41 p.m. in reference to a person shot. Officers located 20-year-old Mondelrius L. Gray seated in a vehicle on the street with multiple gunshot wounds.

Gray was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Troup County Coroner’s Office. The shooter currently remains unidentified, according to LPD.
