Ervonte Deuntrez Smith 

1994-2020

Mr. Ervonte Deuntrez Smith passed away Saturday.

He was born Nov. 1, 1994, was born to Ratessa Smith and Earl Grier.

At an early age, Ervonte joined New Solomon Grove Missionary Baptist Church, graduated from Harris County High School, Class of 2012; and was currently employed by Wood Solar Panel Engineers and was working in Rocky Mountain, North Carolina.

Ervonte enjoyed singing, playing musical instruments and composing many songs; and was currently live streaming music videos under the cover name, “Humble Master Mind”.

Survivors include his mother, Ms. Ratessa Smith; father, Mr. Earl Grier; siblings:  Burgunday Gay-Bennett, Brandy Greene, Amber Grier, Taknisha Bray, Benjamin Daniels, TaKendrick O’Neal, and Jabrayln Grier; grandparents:  Rev. Ervin and Mrs. Earnestine Hixson Smith, Pine Mountain, Georgia; aunts and uncles:  maternal, Mr. Derrick (Nikki) Smith, Ellaville, Georgia; Deacon Tretorian (Dorothea) Smith, Pine Mountain, Georgia; paternal, Mr. Clint Grier, Ms. Yolanda Sanders, Mr. Nicholas Jones, Mr. Lance Jones, Mr. Leon Jones, Mrs. Sylvia Maddox, Mrs. Priscilla (Calvin) Talley, Mrs. Julene Brown, Ms. Sandra Brooks, Mr. Tim (Beverly) Brown, all of Pine Mountain, Georgia; and Mr. Andre (Kizzy) Daniels, Hogansville, Georgia; grand aunt, Mrs. Margarite Grier, Pine Mountain, Georgia; and several other aunts, uncles, and a host of relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home on Friday from 4 to 5 p.m. The service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Bethany Baptist Church.
