Harry Leroy Lowery, 88, born Sept. 10 1932, died on Thursday, Sept. 17  at Alpine Health and Rehab in Asheboro, North Carolina of severe dementia and COVID-19. He was the son of James Austin Lowery and Annie Lou (Weeks) Lowery of Eastman both preceded him in death. His sister, Eloise Knowles and his brother, Vanoy Lowery, they too preceded him in death. His wife, Marie (Goulart)Lowery of 56 years if marriage preceded him in death. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

He had four children: Susan, Cathy, Connie and Carol. Susan and Rufus Braddy of Atlanta, Georgia, and their two children, Elizabeth and Luke Braddy. Cathy and David MacFarlane of Eastman, Georgia, and their three children, Rory and Shane MacFarlane along with Shannon M. Shepherd. Connie and Jeff Westbrook of Liberty, North Carolina. Carol and Donnie Caviness of Liberty, North Carolina and their three children, Daniel and Aaron Caviness along with Cherise C. Knoll. Along with 10 great grandchildren, Harry was a God fearing man who loved his family very much. He will be greatly missed.
