The number of students in the Troup County School System with a confirmed case of COVID-19 stayed in the single digits, according to the latest update from the school system.

TCSS has seven students with a confirmed case of COVID-19, which is up two from Friday’s report.

The number of staff members with a positive case fell from five on Friday to three on Tuesday.

The number of students in quarantine drastically fell, going from 259 on Friday to 179 on Tuesday. Fifteen staff members are currently in quarantine, according to the report. TCSS will update its COVID-19 numbers again on Friday.
