Mrs. Beverly Gail Duke Boyd, 66, of Hogansville, passed away on Nov. 13, 2020.  Mrs. Boyd was born on Sept. 7, 1954 in LaGrange to Heddie Duke and Narvell Langley Duke. 

Her father preceded her in death as well as a daughter, Heather Brazil, a granddaughter, Cayla Gribble, previous husband, Charles Connell and a brother, Neal Duke.

Her mother survives her as well as her husband, Tony Boyd; son, Robert Brazil and his wife Cathy; step-daughter Chasity Boyd; grandchildren, Breanna Brazil, Abby Brazil, Austin Brazil and Makaile Hunt; extended family and a host of friends.  Mrs. Boyd graduated from Troup County High School and was employed at Duracell for a number of years.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday Nov. 17, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel.

Interment followed at Shadowlawn Cemetery.  The family received friends on Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.   Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand, 506 Hill Street, LaGrange, (706) 884-5626.
