Deacon Joseph Holloway, Jr. passed away Tuesday.

He was born Oct. 24, 1926 in Troup County, Georgia to the late Rev. and Mrs. Joseph and Inez Holloway, Sr.

He was a Deacon of the Living Cornerstone; served in the Army, The Sons of LaGrange 537, and the American Legion Post 580.

Joseph was employed many years with various organizations including:  Callaway Textiles, Milliken & Company, Georgia Pacific, LaGrange Grocery Company, LaGrange City Schools, and CAFI Head-start.

Survivors include two daughters:  Rhonda (Terrell) Blandingburg and Josephine (Donnie) Beasley, LaGrange, Georgia; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Mary Jean Winston; two nieces, one nephew, and a host of cousins and friends.

The Service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Restlawn Memory Gardens.
