Juanita DeVaughn Crews, of LaGrange, passed away on Jan. 20, 2021. She was born on April 25, 1924 to the late Ernest DeVaughn and Laura Martin DeVaughn in Clay County, Lineville, Alabama.

She worked at Callaway Mills for over 25 years and she has been an active member of Cedarcrest Community Church since 1943. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her stepmother, Montana DeVaughn; husband, Harvey Moore; second husband, James Crews; son, Leonard Moore; stepchildren, Jimmy Moore, Buddy Moore, brother, Robert DeVaughn; sister, Elsie Bailey; step-grandchildren, Lori Parmer, Tiffany Alverson, Tiffany Alverson, Keith Moore; nephew, Richard DeVaughn. Survivors include her stepchildren, J.W. (Jay) Maxwell, Jason Twilley, DeDe King; niece, Wynona Smith; daughter in law, Jewell Moore; best friend, Mindylene Banks; many devoted caregivers; extended family and friends.

Family will have visitation on Friday, Jan. 22, 2021 at the Cedarcrest Community Church from 1-3 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. at the church with Dr. Paul Botica officiating.
