With Chase Williams delivering a masterpiece performance on the mound, the LaGrange Grangers edged Mountain View 2-1 on Friday in the LaGrange Toyota Classic.

Williams pitched a seven-inning complete game, and he held Mountain View to three hits while striking out six.

The Grangers scored single runs in the second and third inning, and they made that lead stand up thanks to the lock-down pitching by Williams.

Seth Stargell scored on an error after leading off the second-inning with a single, and Turner Cook walked with the bases loaded in the third inning to drive in Will Alford.

Ty Medders had two hits, and Alford, Stargell and Esposito each had one hit.
