Mrs. Evelyn Sara McGee, 86, of Pine Mountain passed away Tuesday at LaGrange Rehab.

She was born Feb. 16, 1935, in Pine Mountain, Georgia to the late Render and Balance Crowder.

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Ebenezer Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her health declined.

Survivors include three sons:  Ray (Elaine) McGee, Columbus, Georgia; Welton (Marolyn) Ellison, Decatur, Georgia; and Kataif McGee, Pine Mountain, Georgia; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister, Margie Tucker; brothers:  Neal (Mamie) Crowder, Evan Crowder, Owen (Precious) Crowder, Nathan Crowder, all of LaGrange, Georgia; Connie (Deborah) Crowder, West Point, Georgia; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home on Sunday from 4-5 p.m. The service will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church.
