Due to current weather projections, the opening of all schools in the Troup County School System will be delayed two hours for students and staff on Thursday, March 18.

Dismissal times will remain the same.

In a press release, TCSS said district administrators will continue working closely with local emergency officials to evaluate conditions on Thursday morning. Should further delays or cancellation of school be necessary, a notification will be sent from the district office via a phone message to staff and parents, posted on troup.org, and shared on the school system’s Facebook page.
