DORIS D. THURMAN HALL

1930-2021

Mrs. Doris D. Thurman Hall passed away Sunday.

She was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thurman, July 3, 1930.

Mrs. Hall united McGhee Chapel Church at an early age and served in several capacities of the Church. 

She was employed by Troup County from 1956-1985.

She served on the Troup County Democratic Executive Committee and on the State of Georgia Examining Board of License Dietitians; and the Troup County Human Relations Committee until 1997.

She graduated from East Depot High School, Morris Brown College, and received EDS Degrees from Atlanta University and Alabama State University.

She is survived by a brother, David Dixon; nieces, nephews, close friends, and extended family.

The Service will be Saturday at 12 p.m. in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
