Mr. Maurice Lamonte Pritchett passed away Thursday.

He was born April 5, 1970, in LaGrange, Georgia to Laura T. White and the late James E. Pritchett.

Maurice was 1988 graduate of LaGrange High School, and continued to pursue his education at Albany State University and LaGrange College. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Computer Science; and pledged Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

He was previously employed by InterCall and AVI-SPL in September 2018 and remained until his untimely death.

Maurice was a dedicated member of Threats Grove Baptist Church. He was also a dedicated Board Member for the American Red Cross Central Midwest GA Chapter in Troup County.

Survivors include his mother, Laura T. White; brother, Byron Pritchett, Sr.; sister, Sharlonda Woodyard; three nephews; three nieces; step-mother, Memorial Pritchett; aunts and uncles:  Georgia (Charles) Brown, Evelyn Sherman, Emma Truitt, Jafus (Mary Jean) Truitt, Agnes Truitt, Margaret (Marvin) Allen; and an array of cousins, friends, co-workers.

The Service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.

The excellent care of Mr. Pritchett is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
