David Ridley Ayres, 69 of LaGrange, Georgia was “relocated” from this earthly home to his eternal home on Monday, March 22, 2021, from Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Ayres was born August 11, 1951, in LaGrange, Georgia, son of the late Thomas Ridley Ayres and Maxine Anita Leach Ayres. He retired from the City of LaGrange Water Department. Mr. Ayres was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church, where he had been the Soundman since the church began in 1978. He also traveled and operated the sound system for the Servants Quartet for a number of years. While his family was his greatest passion, he also enjoyed spending time at his mountain home in Robbinsville, North Carolina. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, James Calvin and Annette Rowe Foster; brother-in-law, Steve Farrar.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Nita Foster Ayres; daughter, Natalie Ayres Bonner (William Bryan); granddaughter, Megan Ayres Bonner; sister-in-law, Patti Foster Farrar; his beloved cat, Windy; other relatives and many beloved friends.

No services are scheduled at this time and the family respectfully asks that in lieu of flowers that all donations be made to the LaGrange Humane Society in memory of David Ridley Ayres.
