Mr. Willie Frank Smith, Sr. passed away Saturday.

He was born Feb. 14, 1937, to the late Mr. Wheeler Smith, Sr. and Mrs. Rosa Lee Smith in LaGrange, Georgia.

He attended The Living Cornerstone Church where he served as a Deacon for many years, he was employed by  Playtex, Erving Paper Mill, Hammond Hudson and Holder; City County Hospital and Troup County School System.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Johnnie Clyde Tucker Smith; five children:  Willie Frank (Darlene) Smith, Jr., SC; Larry (Linda) Smith, Macon, GA; Calvin (Beverly) Smith, Pine Mountain, GA; Shannon D. (Octavia) Smith, LaGrange, GA; and Paula (Roger) Shells, LaGrange, GA; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; three brothers:  Wheeler Smith, Jr., Pastor Charlie Smith, and Curtis Smith; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, adopted family members, and friends. The service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.
