Revive Smoothie Bar, located within the Main Street Market in Hogansville, opened April 17 and has been serving up freshness ever since.

During its opening day, Revive Smoothie Bar sold over 200 smoothies and smoothie bowls, said Jessie Provost, who co-owns Revive Smoothie Bar with her husband, Daniel Provost. She said they already have a steady base of customers.

Revive Smoothie Bar’s menu consists of smoothies and smoothie bowls, both made from fresh ingredients already available at Main Street Market.

Though the business has been selling mostly smoothies, the smoothie bowls have struck a popular chord with several of Revive Smoothie Bar’s clients.

“So far, the people who have taken the leap, tried it and loved the idea,” Provost said.

Having the business located within the Main Street Market on Main Street is “perfect,” Provost said.

“We wanted to start off small to see what we could handle … we have a lot of overlap in our business that makes it easier for both of us,” she said.

Provost said that she and her husband have plans to move into their own location eventually and add additional items, such as organic ice cream to their menu.

However, they are not in a hurry.

“We’ll go when the time’s right,” she said.

A regular sized smoothie is $7 while a minimum size is $4.50.

Smoothie bowls range from $10 for a regular and $6 for a mini.

Bowls are topped with an assortment of granola, fresh fruit, nuts, seeds and nut butter. Customers can choose from menu option smoothies or smoothie bowls or “revive your own.”

Each “revive your own” are $1 extra.

Revive Smoothie Bar is opened 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
