Funeral services for Frances Lee Weathers, 91, of Roanoke will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2021, at 4 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Thomas Yaughn and Bro. David Baldwin officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday before services begin.

Mrs. Weathers passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021, at her residence.

Survivors include: one daughter, Kathy Morsch (Chip) of Roanoke; one son, Roger Weathers (Shirley) of Roanoke; five grandchildren, Chenoa Baldwin (David), Thorley Weathers (Kayla), and Logan Weathers (Aimee), all of Roanoke, Jarred Morsch (Susie) of Woodland, and Justin Morsch (Megan) of Owens Crossroads, ; and great-grandchildren, Peyton Morsch, Sadie Morsch, Garrett Rollins, Ollie Morsch, Ally Morsch, Madison Weathers, Levi Weathers, Kinsley Weathers, and Kayley Martin.

Pallbearers will be Logan Weathers, Thorley Weathers, Jarred Morsch, Justin Morsch, David Baldwin, and Garrett Rollins. Honorary pallbearers will be Peyton Morsch and Levi Weathers.

A Georgia native, Mrs. Weathers was born on Sept. 29, 1929, the daughter of Jesse and Pallie Hood Aughtman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Grover J. Weathers; and two sisters, Lillie Britt and Margaret Eidson. Memorials may be floral or donations may be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
