The Callaway Cavaliers will put the wraps on their two-week spring-practice period with a scrimmage game against Harris County on Thursday.

The game, which will be played at Harris County’s stadium, begins at 6 p.m.

The Cavaliers will be short-handed, with many of their players unavailable because of injuries, or commitments to other sports.

It will be Callaway’s first game since it beat Fitzgerald 22-17 in December to win the program’s first state title.

After spring practice ends, the Cavaliers will turn their attention to the summer program which leads into the start of preseason practice late in July.

Callaway has a preseason game against Darlington on Aug. 14 before opening the regular season at Opelika on Aug. 21.
