Mr. Terrell Preston Parmer, 81, of LaGrange, passed away on May 31, 2021.  Mr. Parmer was born on November 9, 1939, in Randolph County, Alabama to the late T.P. Parmer and Eunice Harper Parmer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Linda Parmer. 

Along with his brother Gene, Mr. Parmer was the owner of Parmer Monument Company in LaGrange. 

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Rogers Parmer; children, Renee Riggs (Tim), Terry Parmer (Alice) and Nick Parmer (Brooke); brother, Wendell Parmer (Yvonne); grandchildren, Brian Riggs, Lauren McClung (Matt) and Allyson Parmer; great grandchildren, Macy McClung and Charlie McClung; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at 2 p.m. at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel. 

Family will receive friends from 1 -2 p.m. at the funeral home on Thursday.

Private family entombment services will be held.  Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to the WellStar West Georgia Hospice, 1510 Vernon Road, LaGrange, Georgia, 30240.
