Mr. Carlos Bernard Cotton, Sr., 46, of Columbus departed on Sunday at Piedmont Columbus Regional.

Carlos ‘Pete” Cotton, Sr. the son of James McFarland, Jr. and Helen Cotton was born in Columbus, Georgia.

He was a graduate of Harris County High School and was a certified heating and air technician.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving children Carlisha and Carlos Cotton Jr., his mother Helen Cotton, sisters; Tanita”Judy” and Shernaka Cotton, Jamie McFarland and Yeke Mahone, a very special aunt Mary Ann Walker, special relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 12 p.m. at Roe’s Chapel Church Cemetery with officiating Pastors Dale Turner and Timothy Maddox.

Viewing will be today from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Progressive Funeral Home in Columbus, Georgia.
