Howard Joseph “Joe” Colley, 80, of LaGrange, passed away on June 12, 2021. He was born on July 26, 1940 to the late Raymond Colley and Martha Smith Colley in Troup County, Georgia. He began working at the age of 13 at Jacksons Lawnmower Shop and later in life become the owner and operator of the business.

Survivors include his spouse, Mary Beth Eddleman Colley; son, Ken Colley (Stephanie); daughter, Diane Bartlett (Chris); sister, Eleanor Laney (Ronnie); grandchildren, Eli Clemons, Tori Todd (Will), Caroline Colley Cooper (Riley), Joe Colley, Mackinlee Slate, Caroline Slate, Davis Slate; nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Family will have visitation on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter-Allen-Myhand from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment services will follow at Salem Cemetery.
