LPD arrests three after drug investigation on Barnard Avenue

On Tuesday, the LaGrange Police Department’s Special Investigation Unit conducted a drug investigation at 33 Barnard Avenue.

According to a press release from the LPD, investigators arrested Labroderick King, 32, at the residence. King was charged with three counts of violation of the Georgia Controlled Substance Act including possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Investigators found drugs and recovered two stolen firearms.

Investigators also arrested Terrance Thompson on an outstanding arrest warrant for probation violation, according to the press release. Additionally, they arrested Jesspin Hardy. Hardy had outstanding arrest warrants for three counts of sale of cocaine from another incident and for probation violation.

Thompson and King were on felony probation for violating the Georgia Controlled Substance Act and violating the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act. Hardy was on probation for a misdemeanor offense, per LPD.
