Johnny Lee Bray to everyone as “Duck” was born May 29, 1966 in Meriwether County. 

He was the son of the late Robert Lee and Mary Jo Bray.  He departed this life on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Wellstar-Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia.  Johnny accepted Christ at an early age and he was a member of Trinity CME Church in Durand, Georgia. He attended schools in Meriwether county and later joined the Job Corps in Jacksonville, Florida.   Survivors include his devoted wife, Pandora Bray, two daughters, Erica Terrell (Larry Cotton, Jr.) and Dana Odom, three sons, Ja’Quevious Bray and Mar’ Quevious Bray and Justin Hardnett; eight grandchildren, two brothers, Stanley Bray and James (Alice Lockey) Bray, three sisters, Mary Ann Middlebrooks, Kimberly Bray and Tammy Bray: an uncle, Calvin (Debra) Moreland, aunts, Georgia Parham and Martha Parham, a devoted friend, Bernard “Bunny” Dunlap and several other relatives and friends.  Johnny was preceded in death by his parents. 

Visitation will be held Friday July 9, 2021 from 5-9 p.m. at West Georgia Mortuary.  Graveside services for Johnny Lee Bray will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m at the Durand Cemetery.  Elder Gates will officiate.  Condolences may be expressed or you may sign the Guest Book at http://www.westgeorgiamortuary.com.  West Georgia Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
