Teresa Elaine DeLong, 61, of LaGrange, Georgia entered into Eternal Rest on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at her residence.

Elaine was born October 21, 1959 in LaGrange, Georgia to the late George Edward Bishop and Barbara June Hamby Bishop. She worked as a Utility Dispatcher for the City of LaGrange for a number of years and was a faithful member of Callaway Baptist Church. Elaine loved her family and especially her grandchildren, which she loved to spend time with. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, John DeLong; sons, Ryan (Lacey) DeLong and Scott (Ashley) DeLong; grandchildren, Callie DeLong, Amelia DeLong, and Cole DeLong; siblings, Charles (Tricia) Bishop, Susan (Ronnie) Barnes, Bobby (Brenda) Bishop, and Lynn (Steve) Morgan; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives, beloved friend, Mary Kish and several other friends.

The Gathering of Family and Friends will be Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. The Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Callaway Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Thompson and Rev. Brandon Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in Meadoway Gardens.
