Travis Earl Lane, 57, of LaGrange, Georgia passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at his home.

Mr. Lane was born January 19, 1964 in LaGrange, Georgia, son of Freddie Herbert Lane and Diane Smith Lane.  He was a member of Gray Hill Baptist Church and was employed with Milliken and Company at the Valway Plant.  He received many awards and certifications from Milliken and Company and he was a member of the Pipe Fitter Union.  Mr. Lane was all country and a simple man.  He was an avid outdoors man, loved nature, hunting, sleeping under the stars, and living off the land.  Mr. Lane was also an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Justin Earl Lane.

Survivors in addition to his parents, Freddie and Diane Lane, include his siblings, Joel Allen Lane and Cynthia Lane Anderson; children, Jessica Lauren Lane, Joshua Travis Lane, Jarred Word Lane; the mother of his children, Sebrina Lane; grandchildren, Mason L. Atkinson, Hayden C. May, and Jayden J. Lane; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.

Celebration of Life services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, August 22, 2021 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, LaGrange, Georgia.  A private burial will be on Monday in Restlawn Memory Gardens.  The gathering of family and friends will be on Sunday from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
