Emberglow Handmade has announced the opening of its new downtown location. Emberglow will occupy the “Historic Colonial Building” as its anchor tenant in the Roosevelt Ballroom located at 119 Ridley Avenue.

Emberglow is an artisan collective with an eclectic mix of locally made one-of-a-kind art, handmade jewelry, pottery, reclaimed/repurposed wood, and much more from an ever-evolving coalition of artists and artisans. Emberglow first opened in Nov. 2020 to serve as a creative outlet for local makers and entrepreneurs.

The goal at Emberglow, according to store owner Nikki Franklin, is to preserve, ignite and revitalize the community with opportunities centered around arts, craftsmanship, and culture.

Since its opening, the store has made a wonderful presence in downtown LaGrange, and the community has fully embraced its first artisan collective.

“While the move itself is exciting, I’m thrilled for our vendors and this very unique opportunity for them to grow,” Franklin said.

Join Emberglow on Aug. 30 for its ribbon cutting ceremony at 2 p.m.
